I was pretty pleased with my overpair + high flush draw on the flop; I probably would have been willing to play for stacks if my opponent had shown any resistance.
That river, however, was quite tough. I obviously don't want to let go of a top set so easily, but on the other hand, any jack would give my opponent a straight, and there is still a chance that he had a flush from the very beginning.
So what do you think of this line? I believe a bet could have gotten me in an ugly situation, especially deep stacked. Since I expected him to bet, I went for the check/call instead, only intending to fold to outlandishly big overbets.
