I'm having a lot of issues with TPTK and overpairs when calling bets I get to the river to find out they have hit a gut shot or turned a set/2 pair. I've tried combating this by raising the flop but every time I do this I seem to be up against 2 pair +. Any advice would be great or if anyone can recommend a video.

It's unadvised to call the river with just a pair. If you c-bet 2 streets and he leads out on the river, you're probably way behind with your top pair. I suggest you take a look at your river call efficiency and won when called showdown stats.
