I have been playing for several years and wish to continue my improvement. With the shut down of money poker online (accept nevada) my games have been limited to play money online. Occasional trips to Vegas ( I am in San Diego) and our local casinos. All this with mixed results.

I was looking at the poker trackers here and the various sites. I have never used a tracker or a HUD.

Is there a decent play money site?
Is there a way to play real money in the US? I keep getting bumped once they see my server location.
Suggestions on a poker tracker for a rookie?

I like this site and the information, but I need the right tools for the job as well.

We do so miss the US players and hope you are back with us soon as part of the wider poker community.

I believe the only real purpose in play money is to learn the basics of the game. After that it gets difficult to try and play a real money strategy against players who are generally just having fun.

Sadly we have no affiliated poker rooms that US players can use, however US players can still play online for real money at some sites on the Merge Network, Revolution Network and stand alone rooms like Bovada,

As for poker tracking software there are two major players, PokerTracker and Holdem Manager, Both products are excellent. You can read more details including information about free trials here.
