Hero (BTN): 100 BB
SB: 230.35 BB (VPIP: 25.45, PFR: 23.64, 3Bet Preflop: 14.29, Hands: 57)
BB: 161.15 BB (VPIP: 21.57, PFR: 17.65, 3Bet Preflop: 13.33, Hands: 52)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9♣ 9♠

fold, Hero raises to 2.6 BB, SB raises to 9 BB, fold, Hero calls 6.4 BB

Flop: (19 BB, 2 players) T♦ 4♥ 5♠
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (19 BB, 2 players) J♠
SB checks, Hero bets 9.5 BB, fold

Hero wins 18.05 BB

he looks active PF 3bet ,AF 5 cbet 80 %

I decided to call him on the flop on low board or one high card Q,J,k,A board
just once ,and if he double barrel I will fold

but when he checks on this board ...I was confused between bet or x behind ..what is better ??

during the hand I checked behind because I was afraid vs a x/r ..

turn : I bet for protection to not give him a free card

and If he bets I will call him once .

what do you think about my thought process ??

thanks

Hey,

Preflop is fine. Flop, I would bet for value when checked to. This isn't the kind of flop where I expect to get c/raised regularly.

And fwiw, I wouldn't always fold to the second barrel if villain bets flop and turn.

mmm flop bet for value ?

what worse will call ?

that confuse me a lot ..there is nothing worse will x/c here ..

can we say that he will x/c Ak/AQ..most of them when they check with AK here will fold to a bet ..or they bet by them self..

AK/AQ/A4/A5, i've seen people take this line with 88 as well.

Also, you're rarely beat when you get checked to on this flop. A decent percentage of even weak Tx bets this flop rather than goes for c/c.
