Poker Stars $1.32+$0.18 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t25/t50 Blinds - 6 players

UTG: t2690 53.80 BBs
Hero (MP): t3625 72.50 BBs
CO: t1455 29.10 BBs
BTN: t1695 33.90 BBs
SB: t1225 24.50 BBs
BB: t2810 56.20 BBs

Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is MP with 8♥ 8♠
1 fold, Hero raises to t125, 2 folds, SB raises to t200, 1 fold, Hero calls t75

Flop: (t450) Q♦ 2♣ 2♠ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (t450) Q♠ (2 players)
SB bets t50, Hero calls t50

River: (t550) 7♠ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

FLOP: I didn't c-bet because I think he is c/c or c/r (based on his small 3-bet), so I obted for pot control.

TURN: I think my hand has more value now against Ax that missed the flop and turn. I was not confident to go broke (if he shoves after my raise) so I just called. Should I raise here?

RIVER: Review the hand I think it's a clear value bet here. LoL sucks post-flop playing =s

Hello rmslobato ,

Preflop:

OK.

Flop:

I prefer to bet to 1/2 of the pot to take the pot here.

Turn:

As played, idea of a small raise for value and free showdown sounds fine to me. Raise to ~300 chips is fine. Just call is also fine.

River:

I think we have a value from an ace here. Bet to ~200-250 chips looks fine to me.
