Poker Stars, $13.89 Buy-in (50/100 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 7 Players

Hero (MP1): 2,383 (23.8 bb)
MP2: 1,421 (14.2 bb)
MP3: 1,095 (11 bb)
CO: 2,561 (25.6 bb)
BTN: 3,184 (31.8 bb)
SB: 1,528 (15.3 bb)
BB: 1,328 (13.3 bb) 12/9/5.5/donk bet 17 over 260 hands

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 8 8
Hero raises to 205, 5 folds, BB calls 105

Flop: (460) 6 6 T (2 players)
BB bets 200, Hero calls 200

He donks like protecting something, but on this flop... Just can't see any stronger hand that he would play this way, but shoving is also not an option, so call.

Turn: (860) 4 (2 players)
BB bets 923 and is all-in, Hero folds

He might have some broadway T's here (not sure if he would call them pre though), so looks like small PP or two overs (maybe 99, though he would 3bet that pre), but very weird line, so folded.

Results:

Spoiler

860 pot
Final Board: 6 6 T 4
Hero mucked 8 8 and lost (-405 net)
BB mucked and won 860 (455 net)

I will fold turn tbh. This guy seems tight and somewhat competent. Board is super dry and he's repping either nothing(bluff) or Tx(maybe also some trap pre). Small pocket pairs are outside of his range imo. He will just shove or fold them pre.

Weird line as most opponents will either c/c or c/shove Tx on the flop. I will stack off vs a proper fish, here, I think folding is better. If you've seen him taking fishy lines, call flop/call any turn.
