PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $4.86 (VPIP: 19.13, PFR: 18.26, 3Bet Preflop: 2.63, Hands: 119)
SB: $5.12 (VPIP: 15.01, PFR: 10.55, 3Bet Preflop: 5.35, Hands: 521)
BB: $6.69 (VPIP: 16.94, PFR: 13.01, 3Bet Preflop: 6.25, Hands: 124)
UTG: $17.30 (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 12)
MP: $5.91 (VPIP: 39.13, PFR: 34.78, 3Bet Preflop: 7.14, Hands: 46)
Hero (CO): $5.00

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has J♠ Q♦

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.12, BTN calls $0.12, fold, fold

Flop: ($0.31, 2 players) J♦ 5♠ 7♥
Hero bets $0.22, BTN calls $0.22

Turn: ($0.75, 2 players) 3♥
Hero bets $0.54, BTN calls $0.54

River: ($1.83, 2 players) 5♥
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.35, fold

Bet T to make those draws expensive plus I expect him to fold PPs <JJ.

R I was confused. Did he BD a flush? Or slowplayed a set? I don't he will VB any Qxs here with that betsize.
Couldn't think of hands which I could beat. (unless draws continued)

Should I have b/f here? If so, how much would you suggest the bet to be (40% pot; 50% pot)?

Hi.

Turn: Villain seems to be on the tighter side but sample size is small. I guess the Turn bet is not too bad given that both of you are in later positions.

What could he have here? JTs/KJs/AJ? 68s? Would he call twice with a gutshot like T9s? Probably not. Would he call twice with 7X or 88? A tighter player would often fold.

Basically Turn value bet may be a little thin and checking might be a better option. With KJ it would be more of a bet.

River: You def can't bet now. So question is whether to c/c or c/f. I don't think there are too many busted draws so check/fold is fine. But if villain doesn't have too many straight draws that would call the Turn in the first place, then maybe betting Turn isn't so good. And I don't think he necessarily has too many Turned flush draws.

Thanks.

Do you think a better line would be to check T and call most Rs? Or if he checks R, valuebet on R?
This way, we get most of his worse hands in range to call (weaker PPs, 7xs) which would have shut down to T bet?

Its difficult to get this thinking whilst playing. Do I tell myself that "alright with this hand Ill go for 2 streets of value; and vs tight opponent, lets check T and evaluate (likely to call/bet) R"?

Yup u have two streets here. Next question is whether there are enough drsws which would call twice.

If yes, bet flop and turn. If not, bet flop and checkcall turn, bet R if T is checked.
