Hello,

I think I prefer betting the turn. This is a card that I would bet as a bluff a lot and it would make our play easier on river.

As played, we can't really do much there.

Best,
Plamen

If we bet this turn we turn our hand into a bluff cause what worse is going to call us? Also what better is going to fold?

On the other hand we can still take value from random floats Villain is willing to bluff on the turn + usually he wont bluff river since our line is strong for 3bet pot. If we don't have hands like TT in our check/calling range.. then we almost always check / fold the turn.

If we decide on the other hand to bet all our range then we barrel way too much. What am I missing?

I am fine with check/call but then I think we have to check/call most rivers.
Of course, A is a pretty shitty card to do so, Q probably as well, so anything but A/Q/J on river I would be check/calling as well, as people don't really vbet Jx in these stakes, also there are not much Kx in his range.

The main problem I see with check/calling here is that in general we put ourselves in tough spots where we are going to have hard time showing profit. If we go for check/call then we still have to decide what to do on river.
On the other hand, by just betting the turn ourselves we can take his equity from hands (yeah, we beat those but we still skip the guessing scenario) and pretty much have easier decisions on turn/river.
