PokerStars - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

SB: 167.42 BB (VPIP: 18.75, PFR: 18.75, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 16) 4 tables
Hero (CO): 102.8 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♣ A♥

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, SB calls 2 BB, fold

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) K♣ K♥ 3♥
SB checks, Hero bets 2.84 BB, SB raises to 9 BB, Hero calls 6.16 BB

He's very polarized here so I decide to call.

Turn: (24 BB, 2 players) 7♥
SB checks, Hero checks

FDs arrived, kings are there, bluff will fold and I doubt he does it with PP so no sense in bet here imo.

River: (24 BB, 2 players) T♠
SB checks, Hero checks

The same is about the river, right?

Hey GreenPiece,

I don't think flop defend is that necessary readless. Although villain reps very little we shouldn't give him credit for understanding how to play his value range.

Turn bet serves some purpose here for protecting our equity. Only a very small bet is needed. Checking back is fine though.

Check river is good with this line.

He had 9 :club:9 , very interesting. If we knew he was capable of doing this with PP, could we attempt to bluff him off his hand?

We have to determine that by how often he folds to raises, not by the hands he is raising in the first place.

For example, he might just never fold any pocket pair in which case attempting to bluff serves no purpose.
