I played in an unraised pot and decided to donkbet my middelset from BB 200BB-deep without draws on the J :club:4 :diamond:2 :diamond: flop. The unknow UTG with 200BB reraised pot to 8$ with two players behind and the others fold. I had a strong feeling he had JJ.

What is the best play here? I don´t see much value playing here, if he has a strong draw we are alomst equal. If he has 44 or J4 or a weak draw he often will fold to a 4-bet. I don´t like calling and then bet/fold on safe turn.

so you had something like 44K3?
well.. first of all, your opponent will never have 44** here for obv reasons :)
you analyzed the hand in a good way - he either has a strong draw or JJ** so you are basically never ahead in the long run, making a push a -ev move.
the fact that it is an unraised MW-pot where players hesitate to inflate the pot too fast most times anyway makes this a standard bet/fold on the flop.
