PokerStars - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

SB: 146.6 BB (VPIP: 15.63, PFR: 10.94, 3Bet Preflop: 3.85, Hands: 64) 3 tables
MP: 48.22 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 1)
Hero (CO): 100.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♣ 8♦

UTG raises to 3 BB, MP calls 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, fold

Flop: (13 BB, 4 players) 4♦ 6♣ 5♦
SB checks, UTG checks, MP bets 6 BB, Hero raises to 15 BB, SB calls 15 BB, fold, MP calls 9 BB

I'm not afraid of MP at all, probably should make it bigger. SB won't have overpairs, he is likely on a draw.

Turn: (58 BB, 3 players) 2♦
SB checks, MP checks, Hero checks

Draw arrives, I'm giving it up.

River: (58 BB, 3 players) T♠
SB checks, MP checks, Hero ?

Wtf, SB doesn't bet, what can he have? Some 76s probably, I won't give him set or straight (would probably raise flop), flush, two pair (would bet here vs fish). So he won't have strong hand that often. MP is still here and may pay off with weaker holding. Vbet and if yes, 1\2?

Hi GreenPiece

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: UTG is definitely out of the hand when he cehcks there and SB would have probably donked strong hands so isolating MP is our best move.

What do we really beat from SB? 6x and 77 and that's it. I think that valuebetting would be thin there. Both can still be slowplaying a flush so I think checking down is still fine.

Seems like a mistake from me, I bet 1\2 pot actually. The interesting thing is that SB had 66. Big mistake from me, right? You say it is thin and yes, I agree, not more than 1\3 would suffice if any at all.

TBH I'm not entirely surprised that SB showed up with a hand like that there. It's obviously a mistake from him by not raising that flop or better yet donking out himself.

But yes, if we bet 1/3 at most but 3-way I check back there with a weak pair.
