Villain is unknown as default I think AJ is good enough to call but too bad to 3bet for value and too good to 3bet bluff so I decided to call.

Flop I expect him to be giving up sometimes air in one bet and probably AK, AQ, TT,77 fold if I bet big on the turn. We have the backdoornutfd and too overs which aren't realy good against villains AK,AQ hands that beat us so I think turning this into a bluff is better when villain shows weakness.

My plan was to make small overbet on turn and jam a brick river. After we turned top pair I decided to bet for value against TT,JJ,77 types of hands. I dont know if my play was good at all we rep so thin on turn only like 88, 99 and draws and air.

Preflop: very close spot. Im leaning towards a 3b in mp and a call in BU. In CO its rly close. Assumption: avg guy opens 15% from utg

Flop: bet is fine as he should checkfold rly often

Turn: hmm if u are always taking this line as default play u would be bluffing way too often in such spots. Honestly im often checking aj high on flop against stronger opponents. I guess having A:d is good as he cannot have the blocker himself and u are likelier to fold him off his marginal made hand.

I think the overall gameplan probably works fine against many nl25 players but against stronger opponents you would be easily countered.
