Preflop: Hero is SB with T A
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.50) 5 9 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: ($1.50) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, BB raises to $3.50, Hero calls $2.50

River: ($8.50) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $6.25, Hero calls $6.25

Villain's unknown

On the flop I think both cbet and c/c can be okay.
This way he didn't bet I would take the pot, but this raise makes no sense, he can hit pocket duces but that's all. River Q can hit hand like QT, but these bet sizes look like bluff. I don't think he gonna raise with PP AJ-AK. These hands are perfectly fine for call.

I know it's marginal especially against an unknown player.

Hey PedroRobertooo,

Preflop is fine.

Flop check theoretically makes the most sense, although we could cbet if we knew villain folds too much.

I think it's still fine to just x/f turn here and check the hand down vs unknown at these limits.

I completely get why you bet/call turn and x/c river - however we can't say for certain how an unknown will play with the hands he should be with on the flop so better to just fold turn to raise here. There is the other issue of our hand does not even necessarily beat our opponents bluff-range.
