Hi there!

Here we are on the bubble, both players are known regs. Shorty is a nit-reg (bad one) and the CL is a good reg. We have had some 3bet dynamics with him lately and I was just thinking whether I should take this re-steal possibility? What sort of rule-of-thumb would you suggest when re-stealing as middle stack? He folds to hero 3bets 68 and opens BTN 35%. (filtered 3handed)

PKR, $10 Buy-in (800/1,600 blinds, 160 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 3 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (BB): 19,660 (12.3 bb)
BTN: 33,220 (20.8 bb)
SB: 7,120 (4.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q K
BTN raises to 3,200, 2 folds

Be tight :) Very tight, that's the thumb of rule. It's not worth risking bubbling out to gain the blinds. You are still gonna be the comfy big stack, the big stack is still gonna be the big stack. Basically you risk too much for too little.

I will push only pure value in spots like this. 77+, AT+ to start with and you should adjust that depending on BTN's range.
