I had a very loose image at this particular table, I had shown down a 200BB bluff that got called by top set... so naturally people weren't giving me much credit.

On the flop it seemed like a cbet so I just called, trying not to scare him away. On the turn after I bet, he tanked for over a minute before shoving, and because of this combined with my loose image I figured he must be trying to decide what to do with a weakish made hand like AK,AT which is why I decided to call his push (although he could be deciding what to do with TT because I'm representing a flush)

When I look back at this hand I feel like floating the flop was ok because of my aggressive image. It could look like I'm floating a cbet on the flop and then trying to push him off when I bet on the turn, therefore getting more value out of hands like AK,AJ that might get scared if I raise the flop. I'm just thinking maybe it would have been better to just raise his bet on the flop, so that I don't have tricky decisions to make on the turn/river.

Anything other factors that I should take into acount?

You should fold pf, too many worse implied odds if you´re against AK, QQ+.
Postflop: it is fine. Also you could go re-raise to 70$, but since players don´t re-raise on A high boards then I like calling more.
Turn: You can´t really b/f here with top two. He could easily have AK.

preflop is a standard fold
postflop if you say you are lose and you shown bluffs i would raise his cbet and hope he comes over the top with something like ak or he turns a worst hand into a bluff and stacks off because he doesnt give you credit for nothing

At this point I had played about 150 hands at the table running something like 28/22 and this was the first day I had played gorila (he was at 1 other table as well). Based on this is it ok to call AQ preflop?

I guess its more of a situation that I should either fold or bluff 4bet if I feel he's raising light? This way I define his hand and don't risk losing more postflop against the hands that dominate me.

Fold preflop. He is a nit and you need top play OOP. You raised from early -he has to give you some credit for that.
Postflop is well played.

28/22 doesn´t say anything how aggressively you play against raises or postflop. But even if your 3-bet was 10% and your af was 5, then players won´t squeeze light utg open. You can turn your hand into bluff by 4-betting, but if he shoves, then you don´t have that easi decision, since he could aslo shove TT, JJ.
Anyway, I don´t see SB 3-bet as a bluff too often and better is just to give it up pf. If you´d open CO+ (or even MP) then you can call pf (or even go 4-bet/call pf) and stack off if you hit tp.

Ok I understand that calling is no good.
