I didn't want to play for my whole stack with a weak kicker, but was the reraise correct?

Hi radyan111,

A tricky one... I hate these. :P

Against a passive player I'd fold it right after his raise.

Against an agressive or unknown I'd probably just call the flop and re-evaluate on the turn (some stats and reads are very helpful at these spots), BUT... if you want to avoid a difficult decision later in the hand, playing reraise/fold is perfectly fine IMO. You got the information you wanted and made the right decision.

Thanks for a nice explanation Faye!

I don't play much and still earning my points for the Elephant license. When I reach the limit I'll start to take the stats into consideration when making decissions.
