Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BB with T :club: 9 :spade: 8 :club: J :spade:
UTG raises to $0.54, MP calls $0.54, CO calls $0.54, BTN calls $0.54, SB raises to $3.49, Hero...?

Just wanted to ask if this is okay to fold preflop...I thought that both are flush draws are often dominated because its very likely everyone is gonna call and Ribbo always said that straight is the nuts on like 10% of rivers (or smth like that, dont remember correctly...), + we have worst relative position...Thanks for any advice...

Hi,

in general i really love when people fold to cold 3bets. However, you have the elite plo rundown here, and while your FD's are often dominated, you often dominate your opponent's SD's. Also, since your hand is ds 1 suit will often in fact be live, but you can flop so much so good with this hand i would have a really tough time to find a fold.

I would snap fold 9876ds and lower for example, but the J high rundowni'm probably calling.

Regards,

Skod

Hi Skod,

Don't you think hero position PF is very poor to make a 3b cold call ?

Hi,

the lower the SPR, the less the position matters. Noone is folding when they flop a piece of the flop, so position is irrelevant. If you hit you just jam when the action is on you. If you miss, you are not going to try and bluff in any way knowing you have 0 FE vs a betting hand, so you cannot really make a mistake no matter the position.

Regards,

Skod
