Preflop: ($0.15, 6 players) Hero is CO with A♥ K♥
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, BB calls $0.20
Flop: 9♣ 9♥ 3♥ ($0.65, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.41, BB raises to $1.10, Hero raises to $2.51, BB raises to $7.00, 1 fold
Preflop: I think this is fine.
Flop: I think cbetting is fine here as a semibluff with the nut flush and two overcards. After he raises, I think I should have either called or shoved.
I only need about 24% equity to call, and I get pretty close just vs his 9x hands. If he has any flush draws, overpairs or bluffs in his range here, than I'm good to call. So I think that calling is a fine option, with the plan to fold if he bets again and i don't get the odds.
If I shove, he can call with his 9x hands, overpairs like JJ and QQ that didn't 3bet pre, maybe Q :heart:J , and against his range, I think I'm not the favourite. So I think I should have called.
