UTG raises to $0.17, 3 folds, SB calls $0.15, Hero calls $0.12

Flop: ($0.51) T A J (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $0.36, 2 folds

Results:

Spoiler

$0.51 pot ($0.02 rake)
Final Board: T A J
UTG mucked and won $0.49 ($0.32 net)
SB mucked and lost (-$0.17 net)
Hero mucked Q Q and lost (-$0.17 net)

Villain is12/9 passive reg, but only opens 7% from MP so I choose not to squeeze. Should I be squeezing here anyway?, how tight does he have to be before I start calling as std?

Hey ChangNoi77,

Preflop call is fine. Squeezing is often a decent option vs these positions, we should just reduce our sizing.

Given ultra tight rfi from UTG though flatting is best here. When it starts getting above 10% or so then squeezing is more of an option. This is not the only factor though of course, we are interested in how he defends vs 3bets, whether he primarily flats or primarily 4bets for example.
