Bit of a car crash hand. Not sure why I didn't 3 bet to 40c, maybe he was tighter at the time than the 15/9 stats I have on him now.

Thought my hand was good enough to not raise on the flop. I guess I panic a bit with the potential draws on the turn, not sure if this guy will stack every sensible two pair combo here.

Hey ChangNoi77,

Preflop 3bet for value is fine vs a min-open as mentioned. Doesn't have to be $0.40, $0.30 is fine.

I don't really see any reason to slowplay flop here. I would put in a small 3bet. We don't like the turn card. Stacking still fine as hopefully we get action from enough worse 2pairs etc.

The majority of regs can fold a one pair hand to a post flop raise, and draws are only a small part of villains likely range. Would you think that the EV of a small flop cold 3 bet and no further action is better than just calling flop and turn and allowing villain to bet 3 streets with his aces up?

Obviously if our cold-3bet always closes the action we might prefer to let our opponents barrel and risk 2 guys freerolling equity vs us.

In reality our cold-3bet will not always end the action (otherwise I hope you are bluffing a ton in this spot!). Also the texture is not super dry or anything + it's 3way.
