5NL AJo 3 bets min raise

Flatting preflop is fine vs a min-raise. Sometimes it's necessary to 3bet hands that don't play well OOP though in order to 3bet with the required frequency. I have no issues with just flatting here and I think it's a slightly better option. 3betting will likely still be +EV though.

Flop x/c is fine, we can still cbet for value on this texture though vs unknown fish.

Turn x/c is fine.

If villain had more in his stack I would fold river. Even now it's close. We are getting an excellent price though so it's not a big issue to call even if we expect to lose the majority of the time.

As for standard preflop ranges, it firstly depends on sizing and whether we are IP/OOP. Vs min-raises we should defend a lot more frequently. OOP our default strategy should tend toward calling the high card hands that dominate our opponents opening range and 3betting speculative hands that allow us to stay aggressive postflop with the highest frequency. Vs many fish we can cut out the value hands and stick to a depolarized 3betting strategy. So the playability of this hand is not necessarily bad if we are happy betting multiple streets postflop when we flop our A or J because opponent is a calling station and has a wide range.
