Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: But the question is why are you betting so small on that flop? And what's really the plan there after you call (you'll miss most of the time).

So given you bet so small I can see him raising pairs for value there (and some draws).

As played bet the river and why not consider raising the turn?

To leave his float range wide. What do I accomplish by betting here big ? PP's are not folding anyway, and I'm behind, while I just fold out all worse hands, except FD's. Why is my thinking wrong here ?

I don't considering that hitting jack changes anything anyway - the plan was and still is to call turn if flush doesnt hit, and re-evaluate river. Also, if he was bluffing with air, or turned some made hand into a bluff OTF, there's a decent chance he'll just give up. Noticed that many times.

Not raising the turn because of the "bluff-catching" reasons stated above. I don't see how my raise would be for value here ... Even FD's should give up OTT if I raise, cause it just look too damn strong, while also there's just one single street left for FD [much less equity] and I'm just called by better hands.

And I did bet the river, and got x/raised ......

So expect folds from flushes (which may also have gutshots) if we raise to let's say $8-$8.5?

And why do you look so strong? What could you possibly play that looks so strong betting flop small, calling, and raising turn?
