BTN: $10 (100 bb)
SB: $0.71 (7.1 bb)
BB: $66.46 (664.6 bb) No sample.
UTG: $35.25 (352.5 bb)
Hero (MP): $11.26 (112.6 bb)
CO: $12.09 (120.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K♣ J♦
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.25, 3 folds, BB calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.55) 3♥ A♥ 4♠ (2 players)
BB bets $0.50, Hero ?

What do you do in these spots ? In micro stakes I seem to encounter them a LOT. And my line almost 100% is to just raise these donks. And I think more than 50% gets folded, but what do I do when they not folding ? Instantly giving up without 2nd nuts ? Barrel "good cards" ? But I still feel like they are not folding turn on neither of them, when they call a flop raise ... I dont know. What's the "general game plan" in those kind of spots could be ?

Hey wicKeD,

There is some advice out there saying we should raise every single donk-bet. I doubt this is good advice. Some guys donk wide yes however a) some guys only donk tight b) and even the loose donkers may not necessarily fold to a raise.

So without specific reads on opponents donking frequency and fold-donk-to-raise frequency I recommend that we only raise with hands that have decent potential to improve on the turn.

In this particular case there are no decent turn cards for us. Opponent is also betting a significant percentage of pot (not all donk-bets are equal). My preferred line is fold flop here.
