i know i've made a fairly questionable play from UTG but action had been slow and i was fairly certain i could see the flop cheap and that did turn out. and with the min raise i thought that could have been representing many hands. thoughts?

Aside from the preflop limp it looks standard. It's not fun getting check/minraised here since any hand he can/should possibly have is either flipping against you or far ahead already. But with what I know about the $2 level I'd get it in here too.

Most importantly, fold preflop.

fold it preflop , limping not good anyway and if you are close to CO or Button raise it with this hand ,

on flop you can assume that the BB is beating a A and either has the flush or flush draw and would be temped to call & see turn before pushing

Fold preflop... No matter if the table is playing tight or whatever then you should rather raise 67o from button then limping QJs from utg... your just gonna get into trouble postflop playing out of position...

check/fold flop

you only have bottom two pair on a board that has both a possibility of a flush and a straight... even a royal flush and a higher two pair

Like everyone's said, fold preflop.

On the flop I would also go bet/go broke. It's a very drawheavy board, and because it's only 3-handed, I don't give anyone credit for having flopped a flush or a straight (sure it sometimes happens, but they pay us off with so much worse, like Ax..) Plus we have some dead money from MP1.
