I'd lead out on the flop since it's an unraised pot.
what was your plan to a bet? c/c or c/r?
as played river c/c is okay if you have a read, against an unknown it's a c/fold,
you only beat the busted backdoor FD.
pls don't post results btw.

i mix it up on the flop with c/r/shove and bet/shoves. Sorry about results, I'll prune them in future.
Villain is unknown but what hands are really ahead of me here that takes this line on the earlier streets? can only see JT9x, and I feel those usually raise the turn or bet the flop.
I see your point, but the reverse assumption which has to be fullfilled for a call is that villain is ONLY calling the turn with a pure FD. he could be v-betting a hand like AsKs5x6x, AsXs,6xTx etc. so there are various straight-possibilities beside the air bluff which makes a read mandatory for me to justify a call here.

i see your point but besides AsKs5x6x, I don't think the typical average villain at this limit (even the regulars... Rikke is a "regular") is capable of valuebetting thin on the river. So I feel his range is polarised. Even though I have no real reards on him.
