Once you call pf, you should call him down.
I think 3-bet ip is also an option pf. You can always go on pot control at same point. And it is hard him to play 3-bet pot oop.

is it ok to cold call with AJo - AJs against a player with a normal pfr like this one ( I'm talking about SH)? It can give some problems if an ace comes.

And what about A2s - ATs?

I havent been calling with those hands, but should I do it? I play Shorthanded.

I call down here as well.
Coldcalling ATs and better is ok in this spot. If an ace hits we play for pot control and bluff induce. Same counts for SH. Worse Aces I only call wit a read.
