I know how poker forums are flooded with these but after tonight I just could not help myself.

It was a pretty sick session anyways, lost with AA after hitting an A in the flop, this was in a tournament in Titan and this meant i was bubble boy. But i accepted that as I went all in and 2 guys called with KK and QQ. (QQ won btw, sad i know)

But nothing compared to this.
This was in Bodog. $4 SNG 45. About 12 players left. I am dealt AA on the SB. Raise 6 X BB when 3 limped in. 2 called. 1 short shacked and the other 1(!).
Me : 17K, SS : 4 K , Other 1 :22K
Blinds : 400/800

Flop : 9x Ax 10 :spade:
I make a pot sized bet, taking a chance if some one is playing a draw or maybe even with the other A. Short Stacked goes all in. Understandable. Pot committed.

THe other 1 (!) calls. Could not put him on anything beside a draw or maybe K 10(he a maniac, so not impossible).

Turn : 5 :spade: I confidently go all in. Why wouldn't I? I had the nuts there.
Guy calls : I see hez holding K 3 :spade:. Well by now u can guess what the river was. I dont remember what it was apart from that it was a spade.

And thus in about 6 hrs, from a commandable position i go out before the money because some lame wanker watched TV poker and thought "well that cant be hard".

Thus i propose : Lets put together some money to buy some pigs and then feed these fishes to them.

Have your AA never been beaten by a one card flush before? You must be the luckiest poker player ever.

No that hadnt happened to me before, atleast not that i could recall. Not after hitting a set. From recent memory, was beaten by A 8.

It happens.

My last AA was beat by 6 9o. 6 on the flop where I bet a lot of his stack (there was also a J so he didn't even have top pair). Turn brings nothing for him so I push him all in. He calls and gets 9 on the river.

And he is even so bold to type: "No refunds" into the chatbox.

Last AA i lost was to 49 that hit 2pair on the flop and also just to nail it in an extra 9 on the river.
Worst was that when he raised i said "he is on a bluff" and i jumped with happyness when i saw him turn it over, just to hit myself hard at the flop ^^ then i just started to laugh :P

I once had a opponent going all in on the turn and his only outs were my two two set outs.... It feels terrible hitting a two outer and the same card makes my opponent a straight :(

but shit happens and I've suffered worse beats than that :P

JJ all in against A5, 6TJ flop, Q turn, K river. Ugly, but still not worst.

Think the best way to cope with it at least for me is to just laugh at how much money they must loose in the long run when making so incredible lousy plays.

Wow, quite a few gut wrenching bad beats with the rockets.

Yea logically these awful players should go broke pretty soon cuz there is no future with these plays. But even when u r playing for fun, how on earth can u make these plays? DO these people enjoy loosing money? Or is it simply a rush making suck outs like that? I think the rush factor pays a big role.

I had a nasty one today. First hand of an MTT, I have AA. I go all-in, and get called by A2o. Flop is an A, a 2 and something else. Turn: 2. River: 2. I have a set of Aces, and he has FOUR TWOS.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

Oh this reminds me of my AA vs AK all-in preflop

10 J Q on the flop. I was just so amazed at that point.

Live poker, KK with K J 5 flop. Got villian to commit his stack holding AJ
Turn 10
River Q

Calculator 98% vs 2% when the money went in :(

Yep, a 2% chance means it will happen 2% of the time. At least it gives us something to talk about.

Why would we ever want to get ride of these players? These are the players i WANT to play against. How often with a runner-runner flush hit? I hope they come to titan.

May I also just say I am thoroughly amused by the typo in the title of this thread.

LMAO ... ...Brians

Ive had my last seven AA beaten all by flushes by donkeys calling either pre-flop all in or on the flop after huge re-raises unconnected low suited cards, just does my head in!!!!!!!!!
