On the flop I felt he just has air way too often when raising on this board. At best he'd have 67 is what I thought. So called to see what he would do on the turn.
On the turn we did pick up some extra equity and decided to call again and re evaluate on river.
River seemed like a desperate bet since I did not think 8x would bet the turn and my range did look like it had a few 8x too. So decided to call hoping that he'd have some random garbage.
Questions besides knowing how you would play this hand.
1) Is this line better than 3betting OTF?
2) How do we approach this opponent after seeing the results from now on?

EDIT: Can I c/shove turn? I think I have about 30% equity and could maybe make some better hands fold too.
