Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

Hero (BTN): $100 (100 bb)
SB: $163.18 (163.2 bb)
BB: $100 (100 bb)
UTG: $112.45 (112.5 bb)
MP: $67.65 (67.7 bb)
CO: $100 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A 9
3 folds, Hero raises to $2, SB folds, BB calls $1

Flop: ($4.50) T 7 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB raises to $9, Hero raises to $24, BB raises to $98 and is all-in, Hero folds

BB 19/13/8.3 after 81 hands

Is it a good hand to 3bet bluff with?
What sizing would you use?
What turns would you shove on in case he calls? A/8/? And x/call on a 9?

Hey duder1n0,

Current flop sizing is awkward atm imo.

With the remaining stacks on the turn we have an overbet, but not enough of an overbet that we can take a 3 street line instead.

I think it's probably fine to make 3bet smaller, bet small on turn, and jam good rivers. We trap the most dead money this way and also get the most info about villain's range without committing ourself.

Gutshot and back-door, hand is fine for 3betting though /assuming/ the guy is raising flops wide. Might be better just to fold given that he looks tight over very small sample.

Assuming we were jamming turn, mainly 's are good. Yeah, 9x we can check back. I guess you don't mean x/c cos we are IP.

Thanks, makes sense. So 3betting to something like 19$ would be good here?

Yeah this works imo. If the stacks were deeper we could go a little larger, but with the current effective stacks I think this sizing makes sense since we retain better playability on the turn and river.
