Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

BTN: $100 (100 bb)
SB: $118.04 (118 bb)
BB: $116.07 (116.1 bb)
UTG: $130.10 (130.1 bb)
Hero (MP): $100 (100 bb)
CO: $131.08 (131.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K A
UTG raises to $3, Hero raises to $8, 3 folds, BB calls $7, UTG calls $5

Flop: ($24.50) Q 8 A (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($24.50) 9 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $17, Hero calls $17, BB folds

River: ($58.50) Q (2 players)
UTG bets $39, Hero calls $39

BB 23/19/5.5 after 939 hands
coldcalls 3bet 3.3%

UTG 25/18/6.3 after 4.4k hands
UTG open 18
call3bet overall/inUTG 29/27
AFq F/T/R 31/28/29
bet river 34
wtsd/w$sd/wwsf 21/53/38

Notes:
- bluff x/raise K54s F 3way (after cbet+call), x/folds blank T
- BB vs MP calls 99, on T54s-Ks-As x/call F, x/x T, bluffs R
------------------------
- aggro, bluffy postflop

Would be better to just cbet flop? I thought I might not have 3 streets of value, but it's definitely good enough to bluffcatch. Also I was somewhat afraid of BB, who I think has a very strong range after coldcalling an MP vs UTG 3bet oop.

On the river he doesnt really rep bare Qx (he might not bet turn with those), so mainly AQ/QQ/99/88/JTs, but he is aggro, capable of bluffing river, flushdraw is busted, and my hand is underrepped (although I do have some Qx in my range).

Hey duder1n0,

I think best option will be to cbet here. It's true that we probably don't have 3 streets. However in multi-way situations, especially when there are hands that potentially have equity against us it's better to bet for value and take advantage of that additional protection component.

Should possibly call river imo, it's one of the strongest hands in our range. (Although it does depend on our preflop 3betting range and also our flop check back range and how protected it is).
