Hi alphamonkey

3-betting for value preflop is definitely fine (villain doesn't like folding and I'm assuming he doesn't 4 bet a lot)

As played you can check how often he bets turn vs a missed cbet and even go for a turn ck/raise. The river is interesting because you really only have value from JQ and JK and we now lose to Tx and the slowplayed flushes (which he should have some in his range).

If he calls all KJ and JQ preflop he has at most 16 combos. We can say he has 3-4 combos of flushes and Tx I'd say T9/TQ/TK/TA are all possible of course with some suited only (like T9 and maybe TQ). But for example AT is 6 combos, KT is 6 combos, etc so it gets really close to having more combos that beat you than the ones you beat.

Now, if you expect pairs like 88 to call down then it changes things a bit but regardless it's a pretty thin shove.

Thank you for a very good evaluation.

But I want to understand better the decision about Pre flop because a portughese coach say me as flat Pre flop is definitly better than 3bet in this case.

We are missing a bit on information here (such as your image) but vs a guy that doesn't fold a lot to 3-bets and opens wide we can 3-bet a depolarized range (so hands like AJo are part of it).

What reason did he give for flatting being better and playing this OOP to potentially two guys (or being squeezed out of the pot by BB)?

but this guy do not open so wide(28%), and his fold general is 62%, but fold CO is 48%(22), the sample is not enouth.

For example, if villain fold 68% to 3bet and opens also 28%, in this case flat PF is better than 3bet ?

You are also not listing how much he 4-bets.

That 48 (22) may not be accurate but it's generally less than 62% for a spot where he is IP and you are in the blinds (and perceived to have a wide range).

So let's meet in the middle and say 55%.

So 45% of 28% range is actually 12.6% of hands.

Now some 4-bet (we don't know how much) but 12.6% looks like this: 44+,ATs+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KQo. Of course some hands there 4-bet, he may call more connectors and less small pairs, but you get the idea (it's a wide range generally).
