Preflop: Hero is CO with A J
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, BTN calls $0.15, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.37) K A 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.20, BTN calls $0.20

Turn: ($0.77) 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.40, BTN calls $0.40

River: ($1.57) J (2 players)
Hero bets $0.75, BTN raises to $1.95, Hero calls $1.20

Villain is unknown.I think that is a bad call on the river .While I was playing this hand I couldn't think of a hand that he would raise the river for value ..I thought that even AK wouldn't raise the river and most of the times it would 3bet preflop.Putting Kx of spades and Ax of spades in his range and then this line makes sense but I don't know what to think..

Hey Helliaspapas,

Preflop open is fine.

Flop cbet for value is fine.

Turn card is not overly dangerous. It's also tough to get a 2nd street of value from many worse hands so I have no problems with putting this hand in our range that check/calls twice.

When we spike our 2nd pair on river our value bet is fine, but best option is to fold to a raise here.
