villain was a fish....now if i look at the flop i think a raise 3 way is better....
as played the fish X the turn and i decided to bet for value my TP and he calls.
when the 5 hits the river he instant goes all in...at this point i think his bet is polarized to a 5x or nothing. I used almost all my time bank and got to the conclusion that a 5x doesn't donk the flop 3w and i called.
what do you think about my play?

Hi Ovy71

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: why would 5x not donk the flop half pot? Fish definitely donk those hands.

Not only that but you didn't raise the flop nor bet big on the turn so 5x (and even 3x) are always in his range.

So vs a fish that you expect to be passive I'm folding that river. Vs a maniac it's a call.

But really the flop should be a raise and as played turn bigger (I'm assuming player 4 is some reg).
