Villain seemed LP. Didn't see him calling worse or me being able to fold out better ( an Ax won't fold ) therefore just decided to x/fold. Villain appears to be 3b'ing a lot but it was only 2/15 hands and I only have 43 hands on him so couldn't give this info too much weight IMO.

I could have bet/fold but didn't really have a plan for the turn other than to x/f.

Hello,

Check/fold is the best play here.
His calling range preflop should consist a lot of Ax hands, and all in all, you can't really go for more than one street of value from worse hands, so I see nothing wrong in checking here.
Once he goes for a bet, I would also fold, as he would be happy to check on this board with a hand like QQ.
