Hero bets, UTG folds, Button calls.

Turn: 8♠ (4.5BB, 2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: Q♥ (6.5BB, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Results:
Final pot: 6.5BB

Bet this turn? I never know.. River ok? BU is unknow but I think most players would attack with 3 and maybe he played passivly low A.

i like a second bet here. there are quite some draws possible and i don´t want to give up the hand yet.
river is close imo. he would bet an A anyway and we would have to call so it doesn´t matter if we bet or check/call (if he really has the A). but a check/call gives him the opportunity to bluff a busted draw again, on the other hand we might still have a value bet against pockets like 66 or 8x (maybe T8s, 98s, 87s with flush draw etc) which he would check behind most likely... not sure. i will mark it for cirith
for me it´s almost 50/50 but if i would have to make a decission i would bet... but i´m almost always wrong when is say things like that ♦

Hi Macias09,

frzl named a good point here which I wouldn't have regonized myself.

Sure he might bluffbet a busted flushraw but with your very good pair you got a nice valuebet against many pocketpairs so I prefer bet/fold over check/call.
