Poker Stars, $1.39 Buy-in (50/100 blinds, 10 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

MP: 366 (3.7 bb)
CO: 2,000 (20 bb) VPIP:63/PFR:29/PFAGR:20/Hands:10
BTN: 350 (3.5 bb)
SB: 1,192 (11.9 bb) VPIP:33/PFR:11/PFAGR:25/Hands:9
Hero (BB): 592 (5.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3 5
MP folds, CO calls 100, BTN folds, SB completes, Hero checks

Flop: (350) 5 4 4 (3 players)
SB bets 1,082 and is all-in, Hero?

What to do? I will definitely push if SB check. But after his push I think I will have worst kicker or I am beat by his set of 4. He also can have over pair. I can beat only SD, but then he probably won`t push, but go for check/call.

Hello mylove190207,

Villain is massive fish. He can have anything here. The nasty thing is that he is against two opponents. He is not pushing only against you. Also we are 3th stack near the bubble. If we were in HU pot than I tend to call but here when he is pushing against two opponents his range should be a bit tighter. I don't think that we are that well against his range when he is over betting for x3 the pot with ~11 effective BBs with the SB.

Guys if you have any questions, do not hesitate to write in this thread by clicking the button or

Best regards,
Antoan

Even though he is a fish I would agree that his range here will be tighter.

Personally I don't think a call is good, because this close to the money you should find better spots.

However overall, why not bluff preflop with either a 3x push or a shove depending on whether you think that size matters here in them folding.

Most likely both will fold, especially the BN. And even if the SB (or the BN) calls you are very likely to be live and can outplay the SB IP.
