Hi Folks,

I am sorry for the long post - I just wanted to share my thoughts maybe i am missing things.

For some reason PS converted does not work for me so posting here:

http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2475798

PRE I decided to ISO big - cannot provide the stats but the limpers were quite loose.

On the flop i bet close to 3/4 pot - he calls. So he should have a piece of this board.

His range: Set is not likely (I am not giving him the odds to set mine PRE but you never know). He could have a FD, Jx or OE. My plan on the turn is to shove if a brick comes out - I have pot size bet left.

The Turn is a J which i really do not like. I would probably check back and evaluate river but he bets small. Now I do not know what to make of this bet - he could try to induce with a Jx here. Or he could bet his FD or Jx. But it was such a tiny bet that i just cannot fold. Thought about shoving the turn but he will play perfectly if do. Calls when he has me and folds when he does not.

The river is a Q: and he leads big - this looks like a value bet to me and T9 just got there.

I had some chips back blinds were still 15/30 so i decided to fold.

Please let me know if that play is Ok. Especially on the turn.

BR

Hi there!

Interesting hand. Let's start with set-not likely. 55/88 are the only hands he can have and usually he will c/r or bet flop as he wants to protect/get value against draws.Tbh, I would imagine Jx to stack off on that drawy board as well. The way I see it is that he doesn't have low Jx to call with pre(certainly not many, maybe the worse is J8s-J9o). J8o is likely to re-raise the flop once you bet so big, so I will reduce a good number of Jx hands on the flop. Some, but not many. On the turn once the jack pairs, I will give him even less credit for him to have one. He, however, has a lot of draws, also 8x type of hands. Once he bets this small and you call-you give him the odds for him to draw for his draws. And it's usually a cheap bluff from a fish. Just shove turn and get value from his draws and 8x.
