I think it is well played. it does seem a bit passive but then again he is a freaking nit. So I won't blame you for this I like!

A 3-bet doesn't even seem close. I doubt he is check-raising many AJ or worse for value, especially since he waited until turn. You beat almost exclusively his bluffs, and you probably don't want to 3-bet versus those either. I don't see many straight draws check-raising on the turn 3-handed against which you could "protect". Well played.
