BB checks, Hero bets $2.22, BB calls $2.22

Turn: ($8.14) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.60, BB raises to $16.58, Hero ???

I think preflop 4b/brk is overplaying.
Flop/ turn bet std? and for c/r?

This is a very clear 4bet/broke spot. His 3b range is wide enough, and this is in late positions. Maybe you might wanna try calculating the EV of going broke in this spot? It's certainly >0 for sure. So the main question is whether calling the 3b yields more EV than 4betting. I don't think you have any information which suggests that that's the case.

EV (4bet) = P(villain calls)(equity in pot X pot size) + P(villain folds)($2.40)

Betting F and T is standard. The raise is kind of sick. I'm not liking this spot, but I feel like this is a little too strong to fold. I don't like folding overpairs in 3b pots for 100bb when they are strong enough to stack off pre. Hope he has some sort of A:dK:d or some random TT/99 being overplayed.
