Yep, i would even get it in on a monotone board. Since villain can have lower sets, bunch of 2 pairs wich u CRUSH and dont even do that bad vs str8.

I prefer smaller sizing before flop (2.5bb) so you don`t polarize yourself with bet sizing and keep your strong hands in your stealing range.
On flop you can`t do much.You hit top set, so you are more than happy to go broke here. He can have worse set, 2 pair or straight, maybe even just TP with SD. So nice push.

Well.. I wouldn't fault anyone to get it all in on the flop, but if villain is somewhat of a nit i would be grossed out.

But i think shoving 140/150'ish BBs over he's 22bb 3bet might be a bit big imo.

Since we are so deep i 'myself' would probably just call he's 3bet on flop and let him barrel, just to keep his range as wide as possible, or if i want to get it in on the flop. I'll probably just raise smaller rather than jamming it in, also to keep him spewing if he ever has some wierd stuff. People in theese MTTs never stop surprising me ♦

If it's been normal for both blinds to come along, then don't mind the initial bet sizing (get the value while you can), otherwise I would typically keep it between 2.25 to 3BB.

Once you hit top your set, your pretty much done for it, I wouldn't like seeing the SB pull a check re-raise after a bet & raise (unless he has a habit of it), but I'm not capable of making a fold on this.

Also whilst I like Woodmo lines of play, it is possible if this guy may have had a draw, hoping the check raise buys him a free card. Whilst not a great play, given the deep stacks I can see some players making this move.

Additionally, if we do call his 3 bet, and he shoves or check shoves on the turn, would we still call. On this board I think I would, so for me getting it on the flop was the best play, albeit not one I would be 100% happy with.
