his raise is kinda big and you almost don't have any fold equity... I think pushing 44 here might be little bit loose without any reads.

pushing any pocket pair with Fold Equity is almost always a good option... but the guy is getting really good odds to call your raise and your situation with 44 ain't really good vs any two cards... at best a coinflip....

you'll have 5bb after paying the blinds so it's really close... I think you'll find a better spot where you have some fold equity later tho... I might be wrong


How can UTG fold here? :O He has to call like 650 for 1950 pot

Hi all,

I would fold this preflop because UTG is getting the odds here to call with any two cards (that is, we should have no fold equity), and we're on the bubble. We can fold and wait for a better spot (where pushing first in with any two cards is a better spot).

Can't believe he folded though, haha.
