River: ($3.95) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.20, CO raises to $10.77 and is all-in, Hero calls $5.90 and is all-in

Villian was unknown

PRE-FLOP:
I'm not really sure that calling his 3bet is good here, but since I didn't had any reads or history with him, I think calling here should be ok.

FLOP:
Plan was to call it twice for value against lower pocket pairs and bluffs, so I x/c

TURN:
when I turned J think I extact more value by x/r here

RIVER:
since he x turn behind, I was betting here for value, given his line his shove looks like 77 or other set, question is could he play same way AK, or weaker two pair, like A7s which he might decided to 3bet pf, and maybe he would sometime bluff KK or QQ since my small river- value bet - in the end I decided that I should call, since he might have a lot of weaker hands here

1)
What do you think about my thought process and plays on all the streets ?

Results:

Spoiler

$20.15 pot ($0.91 rake)
Final Board: 9 A 4 J 7
CO showed 7 7 and won $19.24 ($9.24 net)
Hero mucked J A and lost (-$10 net)

Hi moneymakerzzz

Preflop: how is calling here ok especially without history or reads? 4-bet or fold OOP imo. Or you risk losing a ton of money.

Postflop: Given a lot of people check back Axx on the turn after they cbet why not consider a donk? If he has a good hand (AQ/AK) he'll raise you often anyway.

And as played i doubt any reg at 10nl, that's not on massive tilt, bluffs that river. Maybe he raises A7 but that's all I see that we beat.

About PF call, I wasn't sure about my play, but I suppose that main reason why we shouldn't call - is because of reverse implied odds... we would miss a lot of flops and even if we hit J or A we don't know that it is the best hand, but what about situation when I open CO and i get 3bet from BU and he is unknown as well, so is the calling his 3bet bad here as well ?

Yes, calling 3-bets with hands like this OOP at these limits is generally a bad idea.

4-bet as a bluff (with blockers) if you expect wide 3-bets.
