nfd turnplay oop 3way

I'm not sure if I like the flop lead.
The problem is that you hit the flush only ~1 out of 4 times, 3 times you have a tricky turn spot. Plus your lead could get raised, especially 5handed.

I think I'd just c/c flop for these reasons.

yeah i dont think leading here gives us many benefits. Especially because we are action before the pfa, if we were to act after him i would like a lead/stab.

As played i c/c turn. I see some slowplayed sets in MPs and BUs range and also plenty of AQ combos that might shove the turn.

Hero will hit the flush 1 out of 5 times, to be correct. To 80% of the time hero doesn't hit the flush.

I don't think anyone has aces, so against AQxx, QQxx range hero has 28-29% ott. As the pot is so big, hero can't really bet-fold.

I would check the flop cos leading will create this problem on almost 80% of the turns. Only better hands will raise and then hero pretty much has to fold. So most of the time villains are just going to call. To prevent those akward turn spots, check preflop and see what happens.

Hero didn't say why he thinks leading the flop is better than checking?

well i donk this flop to keep my range wider. i would also bet somethimes with set, 2pairs+fd and somethimes i would go for a c/c with a nfd. Fish could also call my donk with a weaker fd. But i think like KBE said that this i not a good situation to donk here

yeah leading here isn't good because of so many players; i also don't like leading with the nfd when the A is on board vs so many opponents. You can't stand a c/r so leading isn't great here. OTT i would prob bet again with the gutter, maybe we get some FE but we are usually assured 29% equity even vs someone that wants to get it in here.

however calls on such drawy boards usually aren't sets, so we have FE here so just barrel.

why specifically when the A is on board? i initially thought you'd refer to the fact that we could be bluffing with A blocker if there is no A on board, but we could also just be bluffing with the K blocker when the A is on board

Yes people love to play hands with an ace, so it's more likely they have it, + when you for example donk with A high the A is often a very good card for you as well, adding equity even if the flush doesn't hit, so it has in general better equity vs opponents ranges.
