MP checks, Hero bets 60 BB, MP calls 60 BB

Spoiler

Hero shows 7♥ 6♥ (Straight, Seven High) (Pre 39%, Flop 75%, Turn 20%)
MP mucks 8♠ K♠ (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 61%, Flop 25%, Turn 80%)
Hero wins 191.02 BB

folds turn 4/5 times, flop 0%. cbet flop 57%, folds vs missed bet flop 7/10 times, so he should be on stronger side on flop.

I call because it is playable, and deep, also he looks fishy.

Is turn raise ok? it is a scare card and he could bluff wider, and I expect river to be bet most of the time so I would have to fold if I dont hit, so I decided to semi bluff it.

nice value town by him on turn

Hi GingerKid

How exactly does he look fishy? I see nothing that resembles a fish unless you have some notes/history with him (a lot of regs have a bigger gap in party and while his is a bit larger I wouldn't classify him as 100% fish without reads)>

As played, if you expect villain to be a fish why would we ever want to turn 7x into a bluff there?

If anything I would just call and keep his bluffs in and save other hands to bluff (if at all vs fish).

And river, vs a potential fish, is just spew unless we hit like in this case.

He is not pure fish, but like very bad reg, limping sometimes, calling down light, too agro postflop.

Well I didnt plan to fold his Kx, or draw, just pure bluffs

But which hands do you save as a bluff? I bluff on flop 89s, so I could turn only 66 into bluff, but I guess 76s is better because blocks his set and draw. I also call 88-JJ.

If you don't plan to fold his Kx then what better hands are folding?

You have a pair so it's not like you have Q high type hand.

I was happy if he folds worse hands because
He has 6+ outs with all hands, and he can bluff me on river
Since i am cappt if call turn.

So it is similar as i would raise flop with
Nut fd, and i cant fold on flop many better hands.

Well, that's assuming you never plan to bluff the river and assuming that he he has good cards to bluff on (on the river).

You can still have sets and even some straights + Kx on the river so I'm not sure why you think you'll be that capped.

Because I raise for sure all my weak draws like GS and strong hands on lately on turn, last chance to use descent number of bluffs while they still have equity.

So all strong hands are being raised there? Why should he assume that ?

Would you assume that if someone called you on the turn they are always weak?

Yes i assume it on drawy board, thats why i overbet river
Mostly :) even if someone slowplays part on river
Still it is very low perc of his weak range

Yeh, it's not a great % there.

I generally stay away from making very bold assumptions (when lacking information).
