I think a check behind on the turn is even better. A lot draws arrives or made him a pair. You can fold unimproved on the river or even raise improved.
As played I like a check behind way more as I don't see him folding a lot better hands to this rivercards.

You have some showdownvalue as well so you don't want to risk being check/raised as well.

I dont understand this. Isn't a bet on turn a semiblef? We have a nice number of outs but I don't know if we have more fold equity on dry or drawhavy boards??


The problem is that ou can't fold to a check/raise so you want to prevent that if you don't have disadvantages with a check behind.
The turn makes nearly every draw a made hand and he doesn't seem to know what folding means so it should be better to save some money here.
