Hero (SB): $6.06 (121.2 bb)
BB: $5 (100 bb)
UTG: $5.75 (115 bb)
MP: $6.16 (123.2 bb)
CO: $6.13 (122.6 bb)
BTN: $8.94 (178.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8 8
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.45, BB folds, BTN calls $0.30

Flop: ($0.95) 9 7 A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, BTN calls $0.60

Villain: 19/31 AF:1, 31 Hands

Preflop: I thought about calling, but when the BB squeezes it gets ugly so I thought I 3bet for value.
He could call with worse pairs like 22-77 hoping to make a set, also Ax, Suited Broadways, have less equity than this PP.

Flop:
I was not sure if I should continuation bet here.
I did cb with the reason of bluffing high broadways. So they can't improve.
The thing is I thought very much would call me and then I have a very difficult decision on the turn. (x/c or x/f)

Like any As,Ks,Qs, .. Ax,

Flopzilla:

Spoiler

So basically I could "bluff" cb here or what would you say?
Is this 3bet preflop okay?

Hi,

sb is a clear 3bet here.

flop is mixed, i think betting or check/calling is both fine. while we can fold out broadways here that has alot of equity here, our hand is also hard to improve.

if we check/call we get another overcard by the river half the time and we can only check call once.

Thanks
Xavier Fok
