Hi,
I've just recently started to focues on learning PLO and wonder about this hand:
Microgaming - €0.02 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 118 BB
BB: 135 BB (VPIP: 56.25, PFR: 6.25, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 65)
CO: 88 BB (VPIP: 23.53, PFR: 5.88, 3Bet Preflop: 50.00, Hands: 35)
BTN: 100.5 BB (VPIP: 45.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 22)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♦ 9♦ 8♠ 4♣

CO calls 1 BB, BTN calls 1 BB, Hero calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (4 BB, 4 players) J♣ 7♦ 5♠
Hero checks, BB bets 4 BB, CO calls 4 BB, BTN calls 4 BB, Hero calls 4 BB

Turn: (20 BB, 4 players) J♦
Hero checks, BB bets 20 BB, fold, fold, fold,

Wouldn't the best play here be to checkraise to 48 cents? At the time I was worried about some similar hand with Q,K freerolling me. When I look at it now it seems those 12 nut outs running twice would be worth going broke for.

I don't think the hand is good enough for a call in higher limits. But for me here it's a cheap chance to test out what will work for me, trying to get a feel of the game.

every streets seems fine to me _love:

u have no fold equity on the flop so raising there makes no sense, since our hand is drawing

on the turn theres a big chance that someone already has a boat especially given the action _cool:

I'm a nit so i would just fold pre, even if it only costs 0,5bb. You're entering in multiway pot so your FD isn't necessarily good here, and it's also a bit difficult to play it OOP.

You actually have 16 outs here, because every 6,8,9 and T gives you the nutstr8. ;)
I would bet out otf myself. It's very possible that this kind of passive guys could just check even some (weakish) top pair behind in multiway pot, but they surely will call if someone bets. If someone raises, it's ok because we're not folding anyways.

Am i too passive if i as played would just call the flop?
SPR is like 25 and you don't have anything else to go with but the wrap. When BB bets and two players calls, it's possible that some other guy may have similar hand than yours and that is going to reduce your outs.

Hi,

yeah clear fold preflop.

Postflop is standard.

If the table is loose I would call this for 0,5BB and try to hit big, like you did. If the table is really tight, your 4 doesnt really helps your hand so I would fold.

As played, check call is fine. Multiway in a limped pot you dont want to get it in specially when some1 pots, and you have 2 callers already. No point for raising there.

Turn is a clear fold, het pots again, against 3 others. He must be strong here and your al almost everytime drawing dead.
