KK- river standard call?

What range do you think he calls your 3b with?

What's the '% of your nut hands' in your range compared to the '% of nut hands' in his range on this flop?

How does the turn change his and your range?

Can you bet the flop for value?

I would think x/c the river is going to lose a lot. And betting the flop and turn not so great either. I don't even think betting the flop accomplishes much. I'd guess that betting flop and exploitably x/f the turn is a pretty good play here, because villain would have to be floating an insane amount and then betting weak made hands (like TT) in this spot to have enough bluffs.

In order to call villain must have a massive range of backdoors and he has to turn some weak 1P+FD into a bluff. So against the craziest maniacs you can call, but otherwise it's a pretty clear fold I think.

I also like checking the flop with our whole range. I find that on slightly drawish boards containing very few nuts we can let villain barrel through quite profitably if we have a lot of strong PP, trips, strong draws. This way villain gets punished quite hard by betting too often, hence if he decides to chB we can realize more of our EQ with 2OC's or raw backdoors.

pre flop seems good

Flop I don't mind the cbet with KK, I think it's good. I'd rather check AA since it blocks some of villains check back range. And of course if villain is behind he has almost no outs.

Turn I think we have to check KK, since shoving blank rivers for value doesn't look very good.

As played I agree with the guys, in practice even this villain will have trouble finding enough bluffs to balance all his value range. And if we want to hero call at least make sure we don't block his bluff range, which we do with K .

Thanks guys, I now realize that I overplayed the hand; I was too blinded with his aggressive stats and talked myself into value betting and bluff catching in the end.
