Hi guys!

I have no sample/reads on villain.

So I defend this hand, I think it's a bit close against a potsize open. I'm confident in my game in this situation. Maybe I should fold it anyway.

Postflop my standard play is to lead out with everything that I want to continue with unless I have good reason not to bet, a read or something. I do have all sets, 2P, etc. in my range. So the main reason I'm betting is to end the hand right away, but if called my range is pretty strong and I can extract more value.

I semi-bink the turn. Obviously I can't fold right away, but I'm a little worried. I decide to ch/c which I also do with KT, AT, KK.

On the river, same thing. Nothing has changed and I get almost the same price.
I'm not sure if I should worry about having to fold this hand at all. I'm still in there with a couple FH's and some Nutflush + better blockers, so maybe my calldown ranges are strong enough and wide enough.
What do you think?

Hi,

i would fold pre for sure.

Even an uknown, UTG should have a lot of AA and KK in his range; once turn hits it's like we know we are behind now but it's tough to fold. When 2 people call you here the likelyhood of a set is just sooo big. What other can they really call u with? Best case scenario when 2 people call is the nuts + the J high flush, but how often this happens? How oftend does QJxx just call flop?

I'm not sure if i wouldn't just sigh fold turn if i really wanted to make a great play. UTG leads with UTG+1 still left to act, but i agree it's tough to fold.

River is a clear fold though. What can he possibly be betting with that we beat?

Regards,

Skod

I guess you're right. I mean I have no idea whether folding turn or river is better, but it's really unlikely I can ever call that. I have pretty much signalized my hand strength by calling the turn bet.
Maybe I can call the nut flush if I have maximum blocker effect.
