Full Tilt - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: $26.95 (VPIP: 26.27, PFR: 15.25, 3Bet Preflop: 1.96, Hands: 123)
SB: $25.73 (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 26.00, 3Bet Preflop: 6.67, Hands: 52)
Hero (BB): $42.70
UTG: $32.97 (VPIP: 17.70, PFR: 14.42, 3Bet Preflop: 5.48, Hands: 218)
MP: $7.50 (VPIP: 24.90, PFR: 15.74, 3Bet Preflop: 2.76, Hands: 1,081)
CO: $25.35 (VPIP: 28.05, PFR: 22.76, 3Bet Preflop: 8.51, Hands: 250)

SB posts SB $0.10, Hero posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has A :spade: A
fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.75, fold, Hero raises to $2.25, BTN calls $1.50

Flop : ($4.60, 2 players) 6 :club: 7 :club: 3 :club:
Hero bets $3.50, BTN raises to $7.75, Hero calls $4.25

Turn : ($20.10, 2 players) A :diamond:
Hero bets $10.75, fold

My thought was call the raise and re-evaluate the turn...when I hit an ace I decided to lead and protect against the FD. Does this line make sense?? Does betting any non-club on the turn make sense?? Or should I try to c/r or maybe c/c??

Cheers,
TC

Maybe flop jam would be ok,because many turn cards bad for us.
Turn perfect!

pretty damn disgusting flop spot after you bet super large on the flop.

as played turn donkjam is ok, not much to do with that spr.
sets and flushes will bet anyway but a hand like A:c x, JJ:c could check behind and we don't want that

Hey TeamCupcake,

Preflop 3b for value is good.

I would bet flop for value/protection. Half pot should be fine here. Vs flop raise I recommend folding. Guys are not bluff-raising frequently enough here at these limits imo.

Turn play should be fine. We suck out on all his sets and pick up an additional 20% equity vs his made flushes.
